For welcome drinks: Cocktail attire.
For the wedding: Black-tie requested. For men, a tuxedo or dark suit; for women, a floor-length dress. Wedding ceremony and cocktail hour are both on grass while the dinner and reception are indoors.
For the weekend: Please avoid wearing white, silver, shimmer, and sparkles for all wedding weekend events.
US citizens do not need a tourist visa for short stays in Colombia, but please confirm current entry requirements for your own passport before you book.
El Poblado and the main areas are very visitor-friendly. Feel free to walk around and explore during the day. Use rideshare apps at night. Keep an eye on your belongings and don’t be flashy with jewelry or other valuable items on your person.
Spanish is the local language and the currency is the Colombian peso; cards are widely accepted, but it is handy to keep some cash for taxis and smaller spots.
