Everything you need to plan the trip to Medellín. Reach out if you have questions about flights or where to stay.
José María Córdova (MDE) — the international airport in Medellín, about an hour from the city. Avianca flies direct from JFK, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Houston; from elsewhere, connect through one of those or Bogotá.
Olaya Herrera (EOH) — a small domestic airport 10 minutes from the city, worth a look only if you’re flying within Colombia before or after the wedding.
Uber works well and is easy to use. The metro is clean and cheap if you want to explore, and most rides around the city are short.
To make planning easier, we are sharing a few hotels with special discounts just for our guests. Hotels in the area can book up fast, especially on weekends. We recommend reserving your room early to lock in the rates while rooms are available.
On Saturday, transportation to and from the wedding is provided from both the Binn and 23 Hotels. There is no transport to Friday’s welcome drinks at the Binn, so we encourage an Uber — only a 5–10 minute ride from the 23 Hotel.
